Yesterday, my D got Blue & White M&M’s in the mail from UKy in a bubble wrap mailer. Very cute, but just wondering if this has any “special” significance or is it just a tradition?

@CoMoMom I was waiting to hear about the Honors College and was so excited to get the package in the mail, only to find out they were M&Ms! Then I got rejected a few days later

As an applicant and having received a scholarship from UK, I have to say no other school has made this process feel so personal. I’m from St. Louis, and there was an event in which the President was there. I was able to speak to him and that left a great impression on me.
I’m still deciding between UK and another school, but the small things, like the M&Ms, the President being at an event for potential students, and the recruiter’s warm personality are all things that have stood out to me in the process and is making the decision process a challenging one.

@AuntieFascist Congratulations! She’ll have a great time there. From my visit to Lexington, it is an amazing college town/campus.
Still trying to figure out if UK is the right place for me, though.
