<p>Hi all. I've just finished making my own SAT vocabulary game for Android. I think it's a pretty decent way to study, seeing as it's a game and all. There's also a vocab list / flashcards type review if you want to study the old-school way. Any praise / criticism / tips for the making the app better are highly welcome!</p>

Tired of studying vocabulary for tests like the SAT and GRE the old fashioned way? Fear no more! With Word Attack, you can learn vocabulary while playing games and enjoying yourself! These word games are designed to help you learn vocabulary in the fastest, most efficient ways possible.</p>

<p>Choose from two game modes: survival and classic. In survival mode, you have a certain number of lives; categorize words correctly to avoid losing them. In classic mode, you must race against the clock to build up a large score. Of these two modes, you can choose from two games:</p>

<ul>
<li>Synonym Farmer:
Group words that are synonymous to the two words at the bottom. Easy, fun way to quickly build up a large word-base.</li>
<li>Synonym Protector (Available only in the full version):
Guide the rocket with your finger to destroy all the words that are synonymous to the word at the bottom of the screen.</li>
</ul>

<p>The higher your accuracy, the more likely you are to earn streak points, which can send your score to stratospheric heights.</p>

<p>If you prefer to study vocabulary the long way, this app has a built in vocabulary list with over 500 words and their definitions. This list also has advanced search functionality, along with text-to-speech capabilities.</p>

<p>i stumbled on this site called Font 99 . It’s a mnemonics wiki, really fast way to memorize vocab. some hits, some misses. all in all pretty good</p>

<p>I’ve also used myvocabapp ([Memorize</a> SAT and GRE vocabulary | myvocabapp](<a href=“http://www.myvocabapp.com/]Memorize”>http://www.myvocabapp.com/)) it’s certainly not fun as your game but it helped me work on both short-term memorization, which is not too bad, and, most importantly, longer-term retention which is really hard.</p>
