Hi, I am currently a senior in high school doing the IB program.
I was wondering if I have a shot of getting into the University of Miami, Fl.
My credentials are as follows:
5 As in GCE O’levels, Average 4.5 GPA in IB, and since I am the worst test taker there ever existed, my SAT was 1090, unfortunately. Apart from that, I have done numerous activities like community service, volunteer work, internships, sports, debating, and what not, you name it. And I think my common app essay was really good as well.
Let me know if I have a chance or not.
Your SAT scores are well below the 25th percentile. For this reason, the school is a low reach for you. However, they do value ECs and your essay might have helped. Good luck!
Are you planning on taking a gap year? Do SAT practice tests on Khan Academy and then take the SAT again.
