There is another UMass - Amherst EA 2026 thread on the College Admissions page, and there is a CS major that got in there.
But he/she was got into the college of engineering if am not wrong…

Congrats! Impressive. Did you take AP Computer Science in your high school?
I know UMass recalculates GPA. I wonder how this plays into merit. At the admissions presentation they kept saying it’s a holistic review.
Thank you and no. The high school (private, Catholic in rural Ohio) doesn’t offer that particular AP course.
