UMD College Park vs Umchigan LSA for Comp Sci

Currently, the best colleges I’ve gotten into are UMD and Umichigan, and I plan on being a comp sci major. I am having trouble deciding between the two because they both have their perks, so any advice would be helpful. My parents are willing to pay for my college tuition, but if it is unnecessary, I do want to save them some money, so cost isnt a major factor.

for UMD, I am instate and am in their honors program and I received a pretty good scholarship where I only need to pay 6k a year plus room&board.

for Umichigan, I got in through the LSA since the comp sci program in the LSA and engineering is exactly the same minus differences in prereqs. The campus is also miles above of UMD because Ann Arbor > College Park any day. In terms of ranking, UMD is 16 and Umich is 11 I believe. However, I do pay close to full tuition (~60k)

UMD Honors College hands down. IMO, Michigan is not worth $54K/year more. Congrats on acceptances to great schools! Side note about Ann Arbor - it is great, but you have DC a hop skip and jump from College Park.

For CS, they are almost the same, so UMD makes a ton more sense.

UMD

In-State + Honors Program. Plus, UMD has one of the best CS programs in the nation.
