Hi,
I am really worried that I might not be able to get into UMD because of my downward trend in GPA. I went from 3.7 to 3.5 from freshman year to end of junior year. My classes have gotten much harder though, I took 5 ap classes this year (including BC Calculus and Statistics), and my SAT was pretty good in my opinion, getting a 2150 (old).
Along with that, I do a few clubs at school like math team, math honor society, and model un. There are other out of school activities I do as well. Other than that I have an internship at a lab this coming summer.
Do you guys think my other factors could cover up my gpa and give me a good chance at getting into UMD?
You’ll probably get in. Your GPA is good and your sat is really good. Not necessarily a safety but you should get in.
