In state, 3.81/4.5, 1400, I have it
3.45…weighted
1180 (630 R + 550 M) SAT
I have it lol
3.75 uw 4.42 w
1960/2400
I have the housing link
And I know a guy with a 3.3 weighted and I think like 1250ish SAT R + M who has it too. Both of us in state
if we don’t have it does it mean we were 100% rejected?
Umm i don’t think so… I’ve seen previous classes talk about the housing glitch. A few kids mentioned they didn’t have it but were accepted.
Can anyone tell me how long after the online decision comes in that people start getting letters? I live in Maryland so if there’s not a huge difference in the time it takes I would rather just wait to open the letter in the mail rather than check it online. @maryversity do you remember?
Part of the dining agreement Squad!!
3.71 1370 M+CR 1970 overall Computer Science Major
All the best guys
3.9something UW/1560 (1600 scale), I have it…still not convinced it means anything. Make sure to post here after decisions come out so future applicants don’t have to deal with this http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-maryland-college-park/1734990-umd-priority-housing-dining-glitch-results-class-of-2019.html#latest
Well over a 4.0 weighted GPA, 3.9 unweighted. 1180 M+R, 1850 overall. Out of state. I have it. Applied to criminology program.
Ugh I’m so confused and upset. I have equivalent if not higher stats than quite a few of the people who have posted but I don’t have the housing agreement. Does UMD typically favor in-state students? I’ve completely lost hope. USC 2019 I guess
UMD does favor in-state students; it’s a public state school. On the College Board it estimates around 80% of students are in-state.
EDIT: I shouldn’t say “favor;” I should say they weigh residence more than most other colleges since they are a public school.
Is it possible that some people don’t know where to look and therefore they don’t think that they have it? I wasn’t sure at first
University of Maryland is actually notorious (to Maryland taxpayers) for allowing a decent percentage of out of state students to attend their college.
we’re expecting some snow on tuesday in maryland does that mean they’re going to delay decisions?
i hope it doesnt snow. for like the first time ever, i’m praying it doesnt snow.
3.3UW/4.65W, 2020 SAT. I have the housing/dining agreement.
First off… did anybody just watch Maryland come back against Northwestern?!? Also, do we leaning Monday or Tuesday for the decisions?
I know I haven’t really posted on this thread at all but I’ve been watching for about a week now so even though I haven’t really been involved I have to say it’s been a pleasure (a rather torturous one) going through this last stretch of the waiting period with you all. Hope it works out for all of us!
Also I might as well post my stats even though I feel really awkward doing so:
98.6/105 W, my school doesn’t do UW or 4.0 scale grading.
SAT I: 2060 (670 CR 610 M 780 W)
SAT II: 610 Physics, 690 US History
ACT: 31
I have the dining agreement, as well.
im guessing tomorrow
