UMD PRIORITY DECISION CLASS OF 2019

what makes you say that? does anyone actually know an admission officer on here? that would be amazing.

SAT 1420/1600
Have the housing agreement

side note:anyone else just see that basketball game?

Guys that’s going to be us at the basketball games next year

@7xhopeful‌ sigh not those of us without the housing agreement )-:

@kgsenior2015‌ it’s been mentioned MANY times in this thread that the housing agreement glitch may not mean anything. People are still trying to figure out this glitch… Some people had this glitch last year and ended up not getting in and vice-versa. Don’t lose hope yet!

In-state. 1320 SAT (660/660) and 3.7 weighted. Also have the dining agreement.

i am the creator of this thread. i am an OOS applicant and did not get the housing glitch. this thread will also be used for results

There is NO definitive correlation between the housing agreement link and acceptances. Nearly everything on this thread concerning it is pure speculation. Don’t lose hope just because you don’t have the link.

Well two people that are friends of the people who were visited today both said decisions tomorrow so I’m banking on tomorrow. Can’t wait to enter the thread tomorrow and see what’s good! Good luck everyone. We are all going to college no matter the results.

Also lets keep something in perspective. UMD is a competitive school, one of the best public universities in the USA. That being said, it does accept nearly 1/2 of all people that apply. There is no reason for anyone to lose hope. I have test scores slightly below the average at UMD and I am going to be devastated if I do not get in! Granted, test scores are no the end all be all (I hope) – I am in the top 10% of my class and an extremely well rounded student. Everyone stay focused and do not read so much into numbers on a thread like this! A sample of the students who are reporting their scores is inherently biased. Everyone has done the best that they can in high school, myself included!

Has UMD ever released decisions early? Like 11am? Or has it always been 5pm?

I think so @dmvncv‌ maybe for 2013 it was around noon? Don’t quote me on that

last year it was 4:45

I see the housing agreement. In-state, 1330/2030 SAT, 3.9 Weighted GPA

Is it hard to change majors once accepted? I applied for CS but I definitely want to do economics (neither are LEP). How do I go about changing major; before or after classes start. Thanks!

I have the dining agreement, although I think it’s just a glitch and people that do have it are going to be really hurt if they don’t get in.
