Yes, on the same day as the President’s Scholarship. Sorry.
Are there others still to come, or do they just do the President’s and Dean’s Scholarships?
There are 3 Merit Scholarships described on UMD’s Freshman Merit Scholarship web page:
The B/K (Full and Partial), which is offered to about 400 students who have been admitted to the Honors College
The President’s Scholarship which is offered to some students who have applied EA and is in various amounts for 4 years
The Dean’s Scholarship which is offered to some In-State students for 2 years in various amounts.
There are also some smaller Departmental scholarships that seem to be primarily need based.

I have a probably dumb question, but where would a student find information about whether they got a scholarship? Thx!
On your application portal, go to “view checklist”, at the bottom of the checklist page, you will see the merit scholarship information.
