Overall prestiege definitely makes michigan win. Plus it is top 3 in business. Including 3 in finance and 1 in management and other such majors.

Untitled? Better people in UMich? I don't think so. McCombs basically even in the regulars program takes only the top 4% at most from any high school. On top of that most of these people come from highly regarded suburbs in Dallas and Houston (ie Plano in Dallas for example where each high school is top 200 in the nation). So yes, while there may not be as much diversity in terms of in-state vs. out of state there is no reason to say that UMich has excellent kids while UT McCombs has only "average kids."

i'm not talking about the business school................UT-Austin as a whole is not as selective as Michigan............

"there is no reason to say that UMich has excellent kids while UT McCombs has only "average kids.""

i never said that. as a whole, michigan grads do better than UT grads. that doesnt mean UT grads are average...........

I agree with untilted, you should look at the school as a whole. Also, if we even did look at just the business schools, Ross has a much better placement rate with Ibanks and Consultancies.
