UMichigan Ann Arbor EA Class of 2021 Applicants

@ksgr3283 I did

Does anyone know people placed on the wait list yet?

They won’t release the waitlist till after they send out all the acceptances. It doesn’t make any sense to do the process in the reverse.

how is it determined who gets accepted from the waitlist? and does anyone know if we need to send them our transcript, with first and second semester senior grades?

Deferred EA student here. Does anyone know when decisions are out?

@EdwardYYAN check out the deferred students thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/20441590#Comment_20441590

@EdwardYYAN they usually come out every other Thursday at midnight. For me, my old view decision link disappeared then at midnight I had a new one. Everyone I knows decision link disappeared too

Anyone out there receive a merit award yet?

@Sparty82 I received a $1500 regeants scholarship for in state students in january.

Bruh, this thread has the most views out of any CC Top Universities (Non-Ivy) at 931,000 views. Goddang, people love Michigan.

Guys…am I getting my hopes up for nothing?? Deferred EA but 3.77 UW GPA & 1300 SAT (in-state) + 4 honors/3 APs/NHS/1 sport

is this a reach?

@uofmfan its a little bit of a reach but being in-state will help. good luck!

@TheShortSon lol its because michigan gets more applicants than the ivy leagues and we were all freaking out over the early action decision release date and other release dates.

@USUG21 - you indicated ->> Write a why college essay again with loci theme
Sorry for my lack of ignorance but what does “loci” mean and does this even help for those of us in deferred list

loci = letter of continued interest

thanks @just_nag

@tsdesai please write to them that u still have the enthusisasm with you with which u applied. Though deferred ur spirit is still the same. Thank you that they r kind enough to consider ur app in RD pool. Make them happy with ur Letter of continued intrest… make it intresting… all the best…

thank you @USUG21 - will do that - thanks once again

How do you think my chances are with nursing as a OOS male with a 3.7 unweighted GPA and a 1300 SAT with 4 APs and 4 honors. My essays are very strong and show my interest in nursing and also UMich. I also have a lot of leadership and nursing related extracurriculars.

@ggardner your gpa and sat are below average, but being a male will help for nursing! good luck!
