<p>Do I have a chance at getting into Columbia and what can I do to make myself a better candidate for admission? </p>
<p>I understand that my GPA is low but all of my classes are AP and Honors making it an extremely rigorous schedule to adhere by.</p>
<p>The GPA is going to be an issue. Just how good of a soccer player are you? You are going to need a hook.</p>
<p>I’ve been playing travel since I was 9 (went to states and nationals 2 years in a row) and playing in general since I was 3.</p>
<p>The kinds of students who go to Columbia take AP classes and get all A’s, with maybe the occasional B. So no, unhooked I don’t think you have much of a chance.</p>
<p>I think what glido is asking is whether you are good enough to be recruited, because if you are that changes everything.</p>
