Unbiased Chances for some top schools, will chance back

So I would like to hear some of your thoughts, since the people who know me are biased in my favor and it doesn’t help me set realistic goals. I have been deferred from Princeton ED and Uchicago so beside these schools
I am applying to
UCBerkeley, Caltech, Harvard, Yale, UPenn, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Colgate, Colgate and some safeties
What are some of your thoughts

Work. I work at a laboratory year round conducting molecular biology research, will have research published but after decisions are out,
During the summer I work for Cornell at one of their camps. I teach biology and ecology there.
I am a upper middle class white male
My recommendations should be great, The only one I read was from my mentor which was probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me.
All of my essays have been related to my research in one way or another. So my application is focused on my research potential and dream of being a scientist

I think you have a great chance at most of those colleges and as good a chance as anyone at the reaches. You have the grades and test scores, but you also seem to have some outstanding and unique activities. You’re in a good position.

Thanks for the chance!

My friend got into Berkeley engineering. So you can compare with his stats. 2200 sat 800math 2c 800 Chem 4.0 gpa. 4.2 uc gpa.

My friend got rejected to Cornell. His stats were 2160 sat. 780 math 2c. 5’s on 5 ap exams. 3.8 Gpa

Good luck!

Likely for Colgate, match for UCB, low reach for JHU, reach for the rest.

Are you in-state for California and can you afford the OOS fees? There is no financial aid for OOS students in California.

Out of state for Berkeley
