UNC chapel hill or Georgia Tech?

I am currently deciding between the two schools as a biology/neuroscience major on a pre-med track. However, I may want to change to a major that will only take four years, such as biomedical engineering, if I decide to not take the med school path. Both schools are about equal in cost after aid, and I feel comfortable with the “social culture” at either school. My major consideration is choosing a school that will best set me up for a future in stem. Job prospects, salaries, and mcat scores are all very important. I also am worried about pressure and grades, especially with med school. Any advice?

GT makes it very easy to change majors. Last few years they have allowed in coming first years to change to any major they want even before class enrollment starts. No guarantees that will happen again this year, but if not anytime after your first semester you get a “free” major change to any you want. If you are really considering BME then GT is the better school by far.
