@MYOS1634 I chose UNC mostly based on interest and experience. I have been familiar with UNC for a long time, visited it, and it has been my goal to go there since I started high school (I also realized around this time that Duke was much more selective than I thought and very expensive 
).
I had only heard around VCU during my junior year, and I only really wanted to go for the guaranteed medicine program they have. I also have never been to the campus. The scholarship and honors college sweetened the pot a little, but UNC is also better for premed and would be slightly more money.

@cocodude ~ Glad you were able to reach a decision. We go back to UNC tomorrow to see visit the SON and my daughter will attend a class. This is my last attempt to sway her away from the HC at the other school she is considering.
