@dkahfdfhk you should appeal then because if they thought you were OOS that is a huge difference. I think I remember your class rank as being 6-7 percent which should have really given you a great shot even if from Meck. Maybe they would let you resubmit for RD.
I agree @dkahfdfhk. If you were miscategorized as out of state, but your common app showed in-state, you have a good case for it being an actual error which they might reconsider. Worth a shot. Keep us posted and good luck.

I really hope that was the case. They have never rejected someone with my stats from my school in the past 4 years. My residency says missing so I sent an email to chapel hill. This is really nerve racking
