lol honestly same, I am tired of being anxious. I also applied to NC State.I spoke to an admissions officer at state and they told me that as long as you follow the criteria of being a competitive applicant, for example taking the recommended courses your chances are very likely as a junior transfer.
Quick question - what about this thread or information you guys have received makes y’all believe this year is really competitive? Just curious because like mentioned above nobody has really commented on this thread and we’re less than a week from decisions
@Lfriel even though only a few people have commented their stats, the ones that have seem highly qualified. though this thread might not accurately represent the majority of people who’ve applied, it’s nerve-wracking because it does seem very unlikely i’d be accepted compared to them!
@Lfriel Also I know alot of people who have applied who have not commented on the thread, they are probably reading the posts however. Suffice to say their stats are really competitive as well. Not to scare anyone because I’m sure we’ll all be fine, UNC has always been competitive. So positive thinking 
I honestly think that a lot of people just don’t use College Confidential anymore which could be why there aren’t as many comments as previous years. Younger students I’ve noticed have migrated to apps like ZeeMee.
to add onto that, a few of us who posted stats (like me) just want someone to talk to or vent. quarantine does that to ya lol
trust me, no one is sure about the college admissions stuff. its like a dice roll -_- you dont know where it lands and you dont know if one of the admission people had a bad egg sandwich ;-;
I feel old. I mean I’m probably kind of old at 26 compared to the average age here but still. Never even heard of ZeeMee. ??♀️ But I can see why younger people don’t gravitate toward CC. Majority of the members seem to be helicoptor parents, no offense to them. In general this site seems rather toxic. I mainly stick to transfer threads.
Just spoke with the admissions office due to a question about my portal. I also asked if they had any update on when decisions would be released. Obviously they could not give me an exact answer, but she really seemed to be hinting that they were coming very soon, so I would not be surprised to see them by the end of the day. I could be wrong of course, but just thought I would pass on the information.
Ah okay I see. Thanks for clarifying! And yeah I haven’t heard about ZeeMee either… also the point about it being a dice roll is so true! From what y’all have said it seems at this point that we can expect a decision in either a few hours from now or by Thursday or Friday. I don’t think they’ll wait till 4/15
Realistically, if they have fewer applicants then shouldn’t decisions come out earlier? Also I would think they would be done with decisions at least a week before releasing them which is why I believe they could come out today.

We’re getting really close and I came across this blog in a blitz to find info on past decision dates/times. I’m very anxious and ready for this to be over with, and hopefully it will be in the next few days.
A little about me, though very late to the party.

1st in family to attend college.
Graduate (in May) from a NCCC
3.98 GPA
Marine Corps Veteran (separate from active duty in May)
My EC’s are pretty much non existent, but I think my military service will all but negate that.
Applying for Exercise Science and then going to teach high school.

@mkmk29 4pm seems to be the norm when looking at previous years.
i think some years was 3pm as well but yeah it is mostly inclined to be at 4pm.
I’m sure it’s coming out this week? But how confident are we that it’s today?

We’re not a 100% confident but its a possibility, we’ll count down, if it’s not released within an hour then it’s possibly not today.
@CM7850 not very. It’s all a guess. Historically comes out on Thurs/Fri. Last year came out on a Monday, but it was the 8th.

Reading the stats of others is making me nervous as well. I’ve made good grades throughout my life (never made anything below a B-) but my GPA isn’t as high as some of the others here. I know it’s holistic though, so hopefully there’s still a chance.
Does anyone know if we will receive a package in mail telling us that we are accepted or is it just going to be just online?
