I auditioned for North Carolina School of the Arts undergrad voice program and auditioned in January. About a week later I received a letter saying that faculty sees my talent and potential and have recommended me for admissions. I know that this does not mean I am accepted. I think they have to look at your grades and all that stuff. My grades are not bad, especially compared to the average grades of their incoming freshman. Do most people who receive this email get accepted?

I think the chances are well on your side. Congrats. :)

I don't know if everyone gets an offer of acceptance, but DS got the same letter for grad school at UNCSA and did get accepted.

YAY! Good for you! I think that probably means you're in!

Hey,

I auditioned in February for UNCSA. They sent me the same email about being recommended for admission. Have you heard anything yet??

I auditioned in January and receieved my acceptance letter a few weeks ago. I’m not sure if the dates that they send out letters are based on the date you auditioned or not. I’m sure you will find out by next week though since April 1 is the deadline for all colleges to mail acceptances. good luck!

It is nice to see others being accepted to UNCSA as well! Do you plan to attend or choose another school? If you are planning to attend are you an entering freshman or transfer student? I am about 90% sure I will choose UNCSA, and it’s great to hear about from fellow tenors.

I auditioned for the high school voice program at NCSA the last weekend in February, and was accepted pending studio space. Does anyone know what this generally means as far as an admissions decision goes, and/or when I would be notified?
