If you have over a 3.50 GPA and an sat of 1420 and you apply to university of Alabama, they cover full tuition with their out of state presidential scholarship. I got accepted into UA and their honors college and even into a very selective program there called University Fellows which can reward additional money also. My stats are around a 4.6 weighted gpa and 1500 sat. UA is really trying to change their reputation and is giving BIG scholarship dollars to the top out of state schools which is really making the school better and better. It really is a great option for a school with money and the application is super easy.
Also, I know you might think UA wouldnât be LGBTQ friendly but the college is very liberal in comparison to the state and with the school being so big it has so many resources and organizations for LGBTQ members where it is definitely LGBTQ friendly.
Thanks, she is done.
Congrats to your girl- and to you!- @VickiSoCal. Isnât it amazing how different the journeys are between siblings?
Looking forward to hearing her choice!
Where did Undecided STEM girl decide to attend? And is she happy?!
She is a sophomore at Berkeley and loves it. Still undeclared but on track for either a Chem or math major.
