Undergraduate Research Exposition & Symposium

Every year UR seniors present their research to the university-wide community.

The year the URE will be on April 20.

There are both talks and poster sessions.

Sixteen students have been selected to present their research-- 4 from each college division: humanities; social sciences; natural sciences and engineering. Their talks will be from 12:30-1:30 in 4 different venues.

There will a be a poster session for all those who have conducted research and wish to present their findings from 2-3:45 pm in Rush Rees.

If you're interested in what UR students are doing---this is your chance to find out.

(And for all you who wonder if there is research in areas other than science & engineering at UR---this is your chance to see what research in the humanities and social sciences look like. If you're interested: here's a list of last years symposium presenters and award winners:

This coincides with one of our 2016 Experience admitted student days. This is also, by design, the date that we are encouraging all RIG recipients/applicants to visit campus.

I hope any student with an interest in research chooses to visit on April 20th! These undergrad research expos are always impressive.
