<p>I'm taking 2 classes as part of the Humanities sequence but I really don't get how the above is supposed to equal only six hours a week and why under 217 they list Tuesday AND Thursday as lecture days since 216 is supposed to consist of one lecture and 2 precepts ("classes") and 217 is also advertised as one lecture and 2 precepts... </p>

<p>princeton alum/current students any idea how to read this stuff?</p>

<p>there could be typos, but more likely the lecture is on tues. and thurs. (things get changed all of the time)
what you have listed above, depending on the issue, is either 8 or 9 hours
facebook kids taking HUM (they are pretty visible) and ask them</p>

<p>it doesn't necessarily only add up to 6 hours a week</p>
