Here is a question: Would you ever take the SAT I test for someone who was willing to pay you for it? I had a friend who asked me to do it, but I refused. Has anyone else been offered an opportunity to take the SAT I and scored above 650-700 on each of the 3-parts to the test, including the essay for a certain amount of $$$$? Would you do it if the opportunity were to come your way?

that's illegal

if i wouldn't get caught at the end i would do it

and bcon no duh its illegal

I know a kid who ran a business, it involved scoring above 1400 on the old sat, he made about $5000 doing it. he became famous and many people knew about him, but he never got caught and right now he's at harvard.

How exactly does that work? Besides the fact that it's wrong, wouldn't it involve fake IDs and the like?

yea here a fake id is 20 bucks, everytime he took it he went to a different testing place, and no one ever realized whoa this kid took this test for a different person everytime.

That's crazy...how exorbitant was it?

That's just dumb. If either person gets caught they can kiss college goodbye.

Yea, it's certainly possible. I've heard from people that I could earn around 3k for every guaranteed 2200, but that's totally unethical.

A friend of mine offered to pay me money to take the test for him (and this was about 10 minutes before the test) - he just wanted to switch scantrons and for me to just take the test for him.

I would never even consider such a thing though.

Wouldn't work. You'd have to switch the booklets too.

yep yep

Well, its not like it woulda been that hard, the teacher wasn't incompetent, but she did leave the room to talk with someone for about 20 seconds.

Haha I know someone who copied and got a 2200 but because he scored like 1600 the first time they called his bluff and CB made him take it again and I think he scored less than he did the first time hahahahaha. Oddly hes still going to college this fall, penn state. I wonder if they just don't know what happened.

Sorry but I call BS on this

I mean he scored a 1600

and then he scores a 2200

maybe he did intensive review..the CB cant just call him out on this

Yeah thats so unfair.

what if you let he/she use your photo to claim a lost of his/her ID, and his/her new ID would contain your photo, and you could use his/her ID to take the test(risk-free).
i just thought about it, but i'm not going to try it anyhow, hehe

Whaat? Fake Id's have already been established to work.

Question is: are you willing to risk your morals/future college career for it?

and how do you copy the tests are usually in different order for everyone sitting around you (and the april test had 2 totally different tests)

"Sorry but I call BS on this

I mean he scored a 1600

and then he scores a 2200

I dunno if thats the only reason why they called it though... they held his scores for about another month before releasing them. They said because they were "investigating" I dunno what they could have discovered though. Perhaps they looked at the scores from everyone in the room and tried to see if there are "too many" similarities. But whats funny though, is that the girl he copied from, even though she got the same score as he did and didn't have to take the test again... hmmm

Oh and to the person above.. when I've taken the SAT people in one side of the room all have the same exam.. I know because we talk about the questions during the breaks lol
