Unit cap for transferring...is it really 90 semester units (or 135 quarter units)??

bumpidy bump bump

I know this is an old thread but it has a lot of useful information and I have more questions.

I am a 4th year bio student at USC wanting to switch to computer science. I think I have something like 100-120 units already. Should I even try to transfer to a UC (like davis or irvine) or should I finish my BA in bio then reapply as a second bac student?

If I want to transfer, I’d switch to CS here for my last year but I would not graduate. I don’t want to be stuck without a degree and with no school to go to (can’t afford USC tuition after this year).

No exceptions for UCLA. You’ve exceeded the limit.

For future reference on this subject: I have 140 units and am transferring but from one UC to UC using UC reciprocity to fulfil GE requirements. It may be different for CC transfers, but it works out for UC to UC. Hope this helps someone.
