Hello! I am a sophomore very interested in the US Naval Academy at Annapolis. I have a few questions for current students or graduates:

Is the rigorous military life worth the education and benefits?
How difficult is plebe summer mentally and physically?
How much freedom do you have as a student?
Is there time for relaxation/extra-curriculars?
What are students required to do? i.e. March, Drill etc.?

Basically my overarching question is: IS USNA WORTH IT?

head over the serviceacademyforums dot com and search through the thousands of threads. You can spend hours upon hours reading posts that will answer every question you could possibly have. College Confidential is great for most schools, but the service academies get very few comments and views. Head over to the link I provided for better info.
