Universities without a permanent resident card.

In Texas universities such as TAMU or UT, they require a permanent green card, but I don' t have one. What should I do? ( Can anyone list all of the options that I can do?)

This is not true. You can study with an F1 student visa, which is how the vast majority of international students enter the US.

If you are undocumented, contact UT and TAMU, and ask what the process would be.

If you are in the US on a non-immigrant category visa, check with USCIS and find out if you can study here in that category, or if you will need to convert to an F1. Sometimes even if you don’t need to convert your visa, it can be to your advantage to do so.

You also may be severely limited for financial aid too. Some states allow aid to non-citizens, but not all do and the federal govt doesn’t.
