If I want to study environmental science as a major, would William & Mary recommend? Is it necessary to take courses related to religion for undergraduate study? Whether the professor’s resources are affected due to geographical location.
William and Mary is a public university, not a religiously-affiliated one. Make sure you do some research before you apply to schools because if you don’t know the basics facts you can easily slip up in an application or just end up accepted into schools that aren’t right for you.
W&M does have a cool environment and sustainability program of study. So if that’s your area of interest it would work.
I don’t understand this question. The ‘resources’ available t any given professor reflect what is available to their department, which in turn reflects what is available from the university.
Are you interested in environmental science as it applies to a specific geography / location?
Note that just 4% of students at W&M are international students, and that 60% are from the state of Virginia.
William & Mary offers a notably strong geology program. Courses from this area could help you build a solid foundation with which to support your interest in environmental studies.
