University of California does not accept CLEP

just to let you guys know. I am disappointed.

California State Universities do.

Here are some other CA universities…
Public:
California Polytechnic State Univ, Humboldt State Univ, San Diego State Univ, San Francisco State Univ, San Jose State Univ, Sonoma State Univ

Private:
Azusa Pacific Univ, Biola Univ, Chapman Univ, Fresno Pacific Univ, Golden Gate Univ, La Sierra Univ, Scripps College, The Master’s College, University of La Verne, University of Redlands, University of San Diego, University of San Francisco, University of the Pacific

This is not a complete list, just some of the ones many have probably heard of.

Does USC accept CLEP credits?

As far as I know, USC does not grant any credit or placement for CLEP exams. You do know that you can initially look on College Board’s website, right? Just type in the name of the university and then one of the “tabs” of information says SAT/AP/CLEP that you can check out. Just to be certain, though, you can always go to a university’s website, find their search feature and then do a quick “search” for CLEP. Some universities who don’t grant credit won’t mention it at all and others will specifically state that they do not grant any credit for CLEP exams.
