Hello!
I’m currently a transfer student looking to transfer to CU Boulder as a communications major. As someone who is looking to transfer next semester, I was wondering if anyone who attends Cu Boulder knows the reputation of the Communications Program at the University and if its good or not. Thanks so much!!
My daughter is in that department, and she loves it. She feel like she is getting a good education. One huge plus is that in order to graduate, you must complete an internship which they help you find, so you get work experience right away. There are a lot of little avenues to take within the major itself, and they highly recommend to double major, major/minor, or major/certificate. I can’t tell you the reputation of the school compared to other schools though - she transferred between majors as a sophomore, so she was already at Boulder. Also, it sounds as if all those classes are pretty small - even for many of the beginning classes. it’s a popular major though.

CU Boulder has a solid reputation overall and an even better reputation in-state, but it is not one of the best in the nation if that is what you are looking for.
