University of Colorado Boulder/Denver

Hi, This is my first post. My son is in 10 th grade and has shown interest in Architecture. I have seen the same 10-15 school frequently referred to as the best choices but I have not see one post that included Univ of Colorado.

They have the undergrade major in Environmental design which has an architecture track then you can apply to their, or anothers, MAch program for the final 2 years. From what I can tell reading other MAch programs websites, you can transfer to any MAch program with a BA in either ARchitectural studies or Enviromental design.

Why does this school not seem to be on the list of possible places to consider?

Really? This school isn’t on anyone’s undergrad list?

Here’s a link to an MArch student’s blog at CU-Denver. This may give you some information and another viewpoint:

Good Luck!

Thanks Quiet type. I will follow his blog. What I have read is that the undergrad Env Design program is okay but no one speaks highly of the MACH program. Also, others seem to think it is better to attend your BA/BS somewhere different that your MACH but David from the blog went to Boulder undergrad so it will be interesting to see how he compares the 2.
