My son was rejected as well
1560 as a junior SAT, IB top 2% of county not even school and will graduate with over a 7.0 gpa. Makes no sense to us
Both my twins accepted for Summer B. This is good for my son but a disappointment for my daughter who had better GPA and test scores. So a couple questions if anyone knows the answers. How hard is it to try and switch to Fall and if they cant could they take all online classes in Summer B if they wanted to as an option?
Good job on the essays. Most important factor.
Wow!!! That is crazy. Your stats are amazing. You will wind up somewhere awesome and wherver you go will be lucky to have you
It would be listed in your letter
Agree, sorry for you. OOS?
My teen is in! Accepted in the Honors program.

Rejected, GREAT stats + stellar ECs, BUT had to submit my very poor test scores as I am from NJ and have been dealing with cancelations since last March. All good, my journey resides somewhere else! Congrats to all on UF who were accepted!
GReat attitude. Good Luck

Son accepted! OOS- Congrats to all!
So acceptance is for any major?
Wow. My son has same stats but fewer APs and got in. I am very surprised but know you have great options!
Congrats to your D @BrazilianMom!
I’ve seen you post on quite a few on these - your daughter and I must have very similar taste, haha
Yes any major that doesn’t require an audition. It is declared a Preview (orientation).
Yup. Your son is free to choose. Another one of the many advantages of going to UF.
Yes, unless it is for one that needs to be auditioned for
Speaking of Preview… any word on if it will be in person or online.
We don’t know if my son is in yet (he’s at practice and waiting to open till he’s home)
@Melissa96, Is this something she can opt into at a later date? Grateful for her acceptance, but a little surprised she was not offered honors. She was v interested in the honors courses.
No, it is run out of the Dean of Students Office. We haven’t heard yet.
Thank you. You have no idea how much your responses are appreciated
