University of Florida or Penn State University Park?

can anyone tell me which has better programs in Economics / Political Science?

I’d go to Penn State. I love the Big Ten Conference.

so no one has info on the different programs?

UF has a terrible S/F ratio and has had recent massive budget cuts. The fact that smart kids go there because they can’t afford a better school proves very little.

Every college right now has budget issues.

If you are in-state, there is no better deal than UF.

It only has about $4000 tuition, and most people qualify for 100% bright futures( the in-state scholarship program where a 1270 gives you 100% tuition coverage), so you are only paying for books, dorms, and cost of living.

Combine that with great school spirit, an amazing football team, and fantastic weather, and the choice is rather easy.

BTW: I am in Florida right now and am wearing shorts and a t-shirt enjoying the 77* weather (in December).

How is the weather up there in Pennsylvania?

Is Penn St having any budget cuts?

What is Penn St’s S/F ratio?

actually PennState only gets a small percent of its funding from the state, so it hasn’t been that bad yet. Of course Penn States tuition is a lot pricier than many other public schools.
