wait, you got it back already?

They emailed me saying that I have been wait listed. :(

It’s okay, chances are that you’ll still get in!

Did you get an email that they received the application? (Not reject/accept, just receive?)
I heard some different things. My shipping tracking tells me it arrived sometime last week but I haven’t received anything yet so I’m nervous!

augh got waitlisted here as well…does anyone know the major differences between sstp-uf and sstp-iowa? trying to decide between the two

catch221, I had to go and call the admissions office to figure out the status of my application…then I got the waitlist email .___.

Anyone have experience with both camps? Any thoughts of the pros/cons of one vs the other? Is one more fun? more academic? more prestigious? more useful for getting noticed on a college application?

I found that I got accepted. Wohooo. How about you science2015?
IBFloridaMom- Both camps are said to be amazing. Neither are for the student going just because they want a higher chance at getting accepted into college. These programs are meant to expand, test, and evolve a students intrest in the subject at hand, they do stand out on the college application, but only if the student can include the effects of the program on their educational life. Remember college is looking at what a student can do for them, not what mommy and daddy could pay for the student to attend. The programs are both said to be challenging, but i’ve never heard that ether weren’t fun.

haha i got rejected oh well! there’s always SOMETHING to do… hope you all have a great time!
