University of Michigan Class of 2017 Regular Decision

No decision…but phone call from dean of admissions asking my son to apply for one of the top “maize and blue” academic scholar full-ride scholarship! Very exciting! He might apply, but probably won’t go to UM, he was already accepted to Yale with 30K a year. Hopefully this gives someone else an opportunity!

My son’s acceptance appeared on Wolverine Access before an email arrived. I can be absolutely certain of this because I was checking both every two minutes.

The title of his email said nothing about congratulations. It was titled “Michigan Engineering Application Decisions”. If I hadn’t already known that he was accepted I would have panicked!

Still rooting for all of you!

This is really taking forever…

Praying everyday and hope to be accepted!

Us too! Hoping the end is soon. Good or bad just tell us and let’s move on!

Such torture :’(

How long after did people that were accepted get your acceptance letter in the mail after getting an email/looking at WA?

Accepted on March 1; received acceptance packet in mail March 18.

Two weeks from WA/email!

I got in last thursday and just got the packet yesterday. It’s big and blue… Very obvious.

VillageMom - when did your son’s WA show that he was accepted for the School of Engineering? And did he do Regular Decision?

Has anyone who applied on 2/01 received decision?

I applied 01/30, still no decision.

I was deferred a while back, still nothing. :/

I applied mid November, I still didn’t hear back -.-
From Texas with 2100+ SAT, 34 ACT, and summer research experience at MSU (probably shouldn’t have mentioned that to the rival school) research was geared towards the major I picked (Molecular Bio)
This is getting frustrating.

So far the only pattern that I see in admission decisions is unorganized nonsense.

Applied 12/30; no decision . . .

Applied 1/31… and no one heard from my area yet so I guess I’m not in that bad of a position?

Forebenz, my son has two years of community college and applied in mid-January as a transfer. He’ll be a junior in Engineering this fall.

His Wolverine Access account had a link to “View Decision” at 10:45am EST last Friday, March 15th. (It was not there at 10:43am) An email came through a few hours later and the big packet arrived by mail yesterday (Wed. 3/20).

My heart goes out to everyone still waiting to hear!

I applied on 12/28 and I still haven’t heard back. This is killing me. I have literally been refreshing WA for the past week. Before that it was just once a day.
