If you apply EA/ED, you are expressing more interest in the school and you are going to be considered more likely to actually give a damn about your acceptance. If you think otherwise, you’re wrong.

I get it when it comes to binding ED. I feel that too much weight is given to non-binding EA, though.

But let’s not start another debate :o What’s done is done, and a fact remains a fact no matter how much we argue over this. This is a topic to chat and be anxious together, guys, lol - let’s go back to being antsy HS students.

Who in here is applying for LSA like me? :D

Anyways…so i was wondering if I attempted to apply EA and got automatically deferred cause of late scores, am I treated as EA? :X

All thoughts aside, I just want my results

Oh okay thanks for the info @granipc!

So the wait is till next friday now?

“within two weeks”

^I applied to LSA!

Same here.

I also applied to LSA! :)

I applied to LSA before the regular decision deadline, and when I try to access Wolverine Access I am told to enter my uniqname instead of my U of M ID. Is anyone else having this problem?

I applied to umichigan with rolling admission, but based on my WA I’m an RD applicant.
Can someone explain me why?

Try your email address, thats what mine is.

collegeug: Rolling admission and regular decision are the same thing.

Entenduintransit is correct. RD and rolling admissions are the same thing.

I applied for preferred admission to the Ross school, and I know that I can still be accepted to LSA. I was just wondering, do we find out if we’ve been accepted to the Ross the same day we hear from Michigan or a different day? …that is of course if I’m lucky enough to get accepted in the first place

You hear from Ross after you hear from LSA. They need to know you got into LSA before they can consider you for Ross, lol.

@entenduintransit thank you:)
Does anyone know what the probability is that we will hear back from umichigan within 2weeks?

Approx. 63.87%

Considering that they SAID that we’d begin to hear within February to April, and “within two weeks” is up to around the end of February to early March, I’m certain we’re going to hear something either this weekend or next.

do applicants receive any emails on the days before their acceptance / rejection or do they just get a surprise email on a random day?? i cant wait. omg its killin me
