<p>I do not think they get any preemptive emails, JRswish, at least not from what my friends (who are attending UMich) have told me. Generally decisions seem to be released on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays though, so it isn’t entirely “random” to say the least. And yeah, the wait is totally killing me too. :(</p>
<p>JRswish: You won’t get a preemptive email, no. The decision email just comes. It’s almost always on a Friday as far as I know. </p>
<p>When I got accepted it was extremely anti-climactic haha. I heard from a friend that her decision was in so I checked my email. The email was sitting in my gmail inbox and since gmail previews the email for you, I read in the preview line “CONGRATS, You’re in!” or however it was worded. Not much suspense there.</p>
<p>hopefully something tmrw then. ima try to find ways to remove that preview thing on gmail now… altho i applied early jan. almost no chance for me to hear b4 april right? well best of luck to every1 else</p>

<p>They start releasing decisions in February , usually on Fridays. most of the time the early applicants find out but RD might find out today too.</p>
