I want to transfer to the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor this spring semester for undergraduate anthropology. I am out of state. I heard that UMich has a really great anthropology program. The college I'm currently at has a very small anthro program and I am not challenged enough.

I finished freshmen year with a 3.813 GPA.
My SAT's and ACT's are unfortunately pretty low. Do they take those scores into great consideration?

I'm in Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and Deans List.
I was chosen this summer by the National Italian- American Foundation to be apart of a National prestigious program which included a free trip to Italy.
I am also currently working for my anthro professor (who is also my advisor). He is writing a book about his studies and I am helping him organize the research. In addition I also spent my spring break in Trinidad where I earned one college credit.

I really like UMich please let me know if I have any chance!
and some input about the anthro program there would be much appreciated!
