University of Oklahoma National Merit Scholarship

<p>I am a NMSF interested in the University of Oklahoma. While their scholarship offer seems good, it is a little confusing. Could someone explain exactly what is covered by the scholarship? How much would a student have left to pay if they received no other outside scholarships? </p>

<p>Also, could an OU National Merit Scholar give their opinion on the school and the National Scholars Program? Would you recommend it, or do you wish you had chosen a different school?</p>

<p>I have some of the same questions. They actually called me yesterday, and I asked the lady if I would have to pay out of pocket. She said that since I was out of state I may have to pay some “fees”, but we could get a stipend to buy new laptops or to conduct research with.
From my experience the staff there is super helpful especially to NMSF status people. We also get automatically accepted into Honors College.
and that’s about the range of my knowledge. </p>
