On the application it tells us to fill in our cumulative GPA, but it does not specify unweighted or weighted... Does anyone know? I can choose what SAT scores to submit as well correct?

Also, can I submit my regular Oregon application for the 11/1 deadline and then submit the Honors College later?

If your school uses a weighted GPA on your transcript, use that. If unweighted, use that.

For SAT scores you can have the CollegeBoard send whichever scores you want, but only by test date, not per section. In other words, if a student gets their highest cumulative score from Oct. they can choose to have the results of the Oct. test sent (and no other test dates if that’s what they want). However you can’t have the Critical Reading score you got in Oct. sent, and the Math score you got in Nov. sent.

Yes, you can submit your regular UO application first and the CHC app later. You’ll hear back on the UO admission early, but they’ll make an admissions decision about CHC later and you’ll probably hear about that in March.

Thank you very much. One more question: I am doing the regular Oregon application online, and it says that if I turn in the Oregon app online then I can only do the Clark application in paper form. Is that true as well?

If that’s what it says, I assume that’s the way it has to be done. If I recall, my kid also submitted the UO app online and the CHC app on paper. She submitted both by the early notification date, and heard back early from UO, but later in the spring from CHC. This seems to happen frequently with early apps to CHC – they often (but not always) hold them to review along with all the apps submitted by the regular application deadline. So it should make no difference if you submit the UO app now and the CHC app by the regular decision deadline.
