**University of Pennsylvania Fall 2018 Transfer Thread**

Perhaps noteworthy: last year’s common data set (http://www.upenn.edu/ir/Common%20Data%20Set/UPenn%20Common%20Data%20Set%202017-18.pdf?pdf=CDS%202017-18), which was updated April 19th, 2018, says that the planned decision release was 5/15. But in reality, it was 5/2. I imagine they’ll release this year’s decision by the 15th, but this is just speculation.

Also, did anyone apply to the BEPP concentration in Wharton?

@dzimberg If I were to guess, they’ll email us on the 8th that decisions will be released on the 15th

Or, at the latest, emailing us on the 15th that decisions will be released on the 22nd. I think the former situation is more likely though.

(All speculation)

I’m pretty sure Stanford releases on the 15th so there is a good possibility.

Columbia and Harvard (and Cornell, kinda) have already released and Princeton’s coming on the 8th though, looks like everyone’s on different schedules :expressionless: Wish there was a transfer “Ivy Day” so we could get it all over with

did anyone else’s checklist disappear? I think we’re getting close

Mine disappeared too. Hopefully we’re getting close!!!

Yeah that’s true, hopefully this week!

email

May 15th it is

@urmom666 got it also

Can’t believe I have to wait 8 more days to get rejected smh

Dear XXX,

We will post admissions decisions on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Your decision can be viewed by visiting the Penn Applicant Portal.

We have enjoyed getting to know you through this process.

Sincerely,

Penn Admissions

Did any Wharton-applicants on here express interest in Business Economics & Public Policy and/or Social Impact & Responsibility on their application? Or do most just do Finance?

“We have enjoyed getting to know you through this process.” :smiley: We’ll see just how much you enjoyed it on the 15th

@iwannagetintocollege123 I put down Accounting, Finance & Bus Econ. in the application

@iwannagetintocollege123 I put Management, Finance, or Marketing

Is there some kindof trick to play with the applicant portal and know the decision or just a sign in advance? Kinda like the Cornell pintrick, if anyone knows what that is

@ZZ1999T whats the cornell pintrick?

@ngdoan It’s basically this trick where the Cornell website asks for your “PIN” and password. Click “I forgot my PIN” and they send you an email that allows you to edit your password and it essentially redirects you back to the main site again. If you’re getting your decision in that week, it’ll just say “You will be able to view your decision xxx”. If not, you’ll have to wait until the next week to try again or even longer since Cornell is on a rolling basis.

yeah exactly like XiHalo117’s answer. I wish there is a similar trick that works for Penn.
