I just logged into my daughter’s portal (with permission :slightly_smiling_face) and noticed that it’s changed slightly - it no longer says “status: awaiting decision”. Not sure if this means that something is likely forthcoming?

They’ve also been posting a video each day from the admissions committee on Instagam. Yesterday’s was “how did you celebrate being accepted into URI?”
Also random - but I was refreshing my memory on the cost estimate (and praying for a little OOS merit) and noticed the NPC is down for maintenance now through 12/24/2022. If I recall correctly the numbers in it before were older prob from last year.

I would not worry that you haven’t heard yet. It’s also one of my daughter’s top 2 and she has very good stats. But we’re also waiting on UMass (I thought she would get in, and I’m an alum) and several people just heard about that as well but we’re waiting. And we’re still waiting on Ithaca, which I thought would be a definite. I think the EAs seem to come in drips, which is torturous.
She’s OOS (10k merit aid), 3.9/4.3 GPA, artist, 4 APs, no scores. Great extracurriculars and (I think) strong essay. Communications. Good luck to all and hope you hear soon!

She’s in! D23 got in for Nursing! 3.9uw EMT cadet, Captain FH and other ECs! SO excited this was in her top 3!! Cograts and good luck to all!

We are waiting on UMASS too but they have always communicated they would release in waves.

What a nice surprise…weren’t expecting to hear anything until mid January!
OOS/No Test Scores/3.55 GPA/No APs or Honors/Lots of volunteering/Unique essay about moldy cheese based on her long term part time job at a local gourmet market
