UT has a non audition B.A. Theatre major. They also are associated with the Clarence Brown Theatre, one of the few LORT theaters in the country. Their theater program dates back to 1936. They also have an MFA program. So my question is do any CC members have any experience with looking into or attending this program?
I didn’t look at it myself but I went to a summer program with a couple currier students and they were both INCREDIBLY talented. It seems like they’ve gotten great training there, and a good liberal arts education as well—seems like it’s very much a BA. They’ve both been in shows at the Clarence Brown theatre as well. And one was recently on an episode of a TV show which I believe she booked while in school!
