I currently live in Michigan and got accepted to the James Madison College of political science and international relations. I also applied to University of Texas and I'm hoping I'll get accepted (although I'm not sure). Now despite the fact that I'm out of state, I was formerly a texas resident, and in addition to a couple other factors, I have 4 years of tuition paid if I go to a texas school (hence I'm really hoping to go to UT).
But I've also heard many good things about JMC@MSU, and I so far really like the college, as someone who's interested in pursuing a career in pre-law/political science/international relations. I've also heard UT is good for law.

Can anyone tell me how these two compare? As far as the school itself and the city, I love UT, but I know it hasn't been ranked anywhere (or at least not that I can find) and I know JMC is pretty highly ranked.

Thanks!
