University of Washington admission requirements?

I had a 3.87 in freshman year, a 4.0 in sophomore year. Now in junior year, My first semester grades dropped me down to an average GPA of 3.825. My second semester will probably look worse than my first, probably dropping my GPA down to maybe a 3.7, or worst case scenario a 3.6. I will probably end up with 2 Cs, 2 Bs, 1 A-, and an A for junior year. Basically my grades have been going down.

I did my first 2 AP classes junior year, and will be doing 5 senior year. I do extracurricular activities such as sports, community service (at a hospital, I should have about 100+ hours), and taking care of my younger brother after school every single day while parents are at work.

Will UW reject me because of my GPA? I personally think that UW certainly does look at junior year grades a lot more, but I'm not sure by how much.

Please help? Thanks.
P.S. One more question...when working on my application for UW, do I get to say that I'm doing 5 AP classes senior year and that I promise to get good grades, or do they not even take into consideration at all senior year for admissions only?

UW doesn’t only look at your GPA, so as long as you have strong essays and a good amount of extracurricular activities that show your dedication, then you should be fine. On the application, you do state the classes you are taking during your senior year; however, you will not be able to tell them that you “promise to get good grades.” Show UW that your more than your grades and that you can add to their environment. Hopefully that kinda helped…

I agree with pinayako58.
