@UWfromCA I was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions for me regarding the whole pre-major situation thing. I know you have lot of knowledge and have helped a few people with their questions over the past few months. My daughter was accepted into pre-engineering (from CA) but is not 100% positive that this is what she wants to do. So…my question(s) are 1) can she declare any major after completing the required prerequisite classes for the basic education requirements? She is interested in Env Sci and/or business also (as well as her original Env Eng choice). 2) we saw that she would need a 3.7 to declare her major for early admission or 3.5 for upper admission. What if she doesn’t have those GPA’s. Does she keep taking other classes and just not declare a major or does she have to choose an alternate major. Thanks for your time.
