<p>Seattle sucks, the weather is so bad and every is just terrible. UW medicine is certainly not the top of the world's, as the U.S. World News Report Indicates. UW is not even as prestigious as schools like University of Virginia. People with a 2.8 GPA got in with absolute luck for if they did a bit worse that would only mean a community college. Overall, UW sucks.</p>

<p>if you look at Mengs (OP) other posts, you will see he also thinks berkeley, UCLA suck and would rather die than go to a public school. hm seem too conerned with prestige and no quality of education. If i didnt live 15 min from UW and my mom didnt work there it would definitely be one of my top choices. But instead I head off to Pomona College, another place im sure Meng hates because no one has ever heard of it, even tho it's extremely highly rated.</p>

and UW aint that bad...it is one of the top public ivy...there are normal people at UW...</p>

<p>I am currently living in Washington. I have about 30 of my classmates going to UW next year. Yes, I have heard of Pomona, it is in Claremont. People from my school got rejected from Pomona but got into Stanford before. I know what are you talking about! Anyway, congratulations, it is ten times greater than UW.</p>

<p>I think Seattle is a great place and UW is a good school. Sure, people with a 2.8 GPA do get in, but all applicants are now given a holistic review.</p>
