University of West Florida VS. Valencia Community College?

So, due to my series of decisions, my two choices are down to Valencia Community College or UWF, I got accepted into UWF but I am left wondering if the extra cost is really worth it over Valencia. I know UWF isn’t necessarily the best in the state and it also will be 3 times more expensive for me to attend there.

The cost isn’t ideal but it would be mostly manageable for me. If I do attend UWF I will be living on-campus and moving to Pensacola for Orlando so maybe the social life could be a sizeable plus, and with Valencia I would be living at home (which I’m not too excited about). Ultimately, my question is, is there much of a difference (Education, overall experience, etc) between the quality between the two colleges?

If you start at Valencia, and do well for the first two years, you might have more options when you transfer. Think about that as well.

You can indeed save a lot of money by living at home and commuting for those first two years. If you and your family can put aside the savings, you would also have more money to spend when you transfer which could give you an additional set of options.
