It looks like UW has increased its non-need based merit aid over the last couple of years to stay competitive. However, I can only find reference to them doing so to keep high performing Wisconsin students in state. Does anyone know if they give any significant amounts of merit aid to nonresidents?
I see no reason for the school to do so.
They don’t.
I have not heard of nonresidents receiving merit aid at UW-Madison.
