<p>Thanks, interesting article. I do know of a grade change- in particular when an end of semester project was done but lost somewhere in the (computer?) system and the student had to show it existed. That is a legitimate reason to request one. I always felt I had to have LEARNED all of the material and done all of the work, or nearly all, to get that A. I do hope incoming students are understanding that, and am pleased that it still seems to be the message today, despite efforts at entitlement.</p>
<p>Looking at the survey responses one can note the percentages and be concerned about the number of students agreeing with the statements or relieved that the majority still don’t.</p>
