<p>Well I think the answer is to check out SUNY. I was an RA at a 2nd tier SUNY school and younger d is attending one now. I too am a bit peeved by the tenor of these remarks as it is giving the impression that this behavior is more prevalent amongst 2nd tier college students.
Maybe the problem is with your state legislators who underfunds public education. The ratio of RA's to students at SUNY is about 1 to 30. And the college campuses are immaculate, well cared for and new construction is all around.<br>
Come to NYS- our OOS tuition is under $12,000. Most of the 2nd tier SUNY colleges have student enrollment of 5 to 8,000 students. A nurturing fine environment for all. A bit boring and cold- but relatively safe.</p>
