Unsung Heroes

Nice to see folks who labor far from the limelight get credit for making our lives a little better. The pics say it all. Roll Tide.

I know there is always talk of stopping the tailgating on the quad due to the “mess”. It’s these guys that keep that tradition going. It’s absolutely amazing how you can’t tell by Sunday that there was a game at home on Saturday. GREAT job! RTR

The whole Game Weekend staff is amazing…from the clean up crew to the parking organization.

We stayed until Mon am for Parents Weekend and were walking to the Ferg across the Quad and it was pristine. You would never know many
thousands of people were there on Sat. There were areas of thin grass around the edges but typical of most college quads I’ve seen. Pretty amazing.

I think Bama needs to go with a high traffic high-grade of artificial grass on the Quad or some kind of real grass that can really take a beating…like St. Augustine (but don’t know if the weather is correct). They keep reseeding, but the foot traffic just beats it down in some areas.
